Use of Facilities
- The right to use and enjoy Association common facilities resides in membership, which is conferred upon owners of property subject to deed restrictions to participate in the Association. This right may be
further conferred by the member/owner upon members of his family and guests. All rights to the use of common facilities are, however, subject to regulation by the duly elected governing body, the Board of
Directors.
- Guests who are expected to reside in a member's household shall be considered houseguests. Houseguests may use Association facilities as if they were a part of the member's family, providing that the host
member has properly registered such houseguest with the Association Homeowners' Liaison. Registration of houseguests shall be accepted only from adult members appearing in person at the office.
Further, in cases wherein a person (or persons) is given charge over and is allowed the use of a member's residence while the member is absent from Greenbrook, such person or persons may be registered as a
houseguest of the member.
- Renter - Persons renting or leasing a residence in Greenbrook will be allowed the use of Greenbrook facilities on the same basis as a member only upon receipt of a written request from the
member/owner. Members/owners who request such a transfer of right to use will thereby forfeit their own right of use.
- Organizations - Organizations composed of Greenbrook residents which desire the exclusive rent-free use of a facility may make such a request to the Board of Directors. Requests for continuing scheduled use will
normally be considered at the January meeting of the Board, with approval granted for a period of one year. Organizations desiring a one-time exclusive rent-free use of a facility may make such a request
at any regular Board meeting by submitting the request in writing to the Homeowners' Liaison at least one week prior to the Board meeting. Organizations using the facilities are expected to adhere to
assigned hours, to leave the facility neat and orderly and are required to execute a rent-free contract with the Homeowners' Liaison.
- Rental - The clubhouse is available for exclusive use on a rental basis by members and their guests. Other facilities are not available for rental. Clubhouse rental policy, rules and
rates are explained in the Clubhouse Rental Policy and Fee Schedule. A rental contract must be executed with the Homeowners' Liaison.
