Have you received that phone call from Apple asking you to pay money in order to fix your computer?  Have you clicked on an email from your bank that assures you that your account requires more information to make your account secure? 

These and many other scams prey on your innocence and lack of understanding of how the electronic world works.

Greenbrook is hosting a presentation by the Danville Police to help us understand the various threats and how to deal with them.  Detective Stapleton will be at the Greenbrook Clubhouse on August 2 at 7:00 pm.  After the presentation, you will have an opportunity to ask questions or share your experience for the benefit of our whole community. This informative meeting is intended for everyone as we are all susceptible to be scammed!
